 This week my snippet is from Electric Candle, book 2 of The Sleepless City (series co-written with Anne Barwell)  Blair watched as Forge patted himself down, eventually pulled out his wallet, and handed over a credit card. He realized Ben was watching him watch Forge. Twisting in the booth, he quickly looked down at the table. Ben reached across the table and slapped Blair’s forearm. “Told you. Forge might be big and can seem sort of scary, but he’s really nothing but a teddy bear.” “Yeah, one with huge, sharp fangs,” Blair grumbled.
